SixChannel - You can go to "Help, Show Log Text File of Flash Messages" to see what the recent popup flash messages are. On your screen, your MIDI output driver is the built-in Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, but by default all MIDI is instead re-directed to the Coyote WT DXi synth (which actually uses the same sounds as the Microsoft Wavetable, but also gives you the ability to render directly from MIDI to audio because it is a DXi synth, versus a dedicated synth). The result is that war winds up handing more authority to the central government. Get my drift? The hypocrisy is when people who sell their souls to the nanny state get on a high h

Hey Matt! yeah I already was undetermined exactly in regard to that - thanks for bringing this up. Probablay makes sense, in most cases. In Mas Que Nada for example, he only plays a very small Solo at the end. But on the other side, e.g. for Oba-Lá-Lá you could argue that almost the whole song could be seen as one big Sergio-Solo.

RealTracks Artist Pat Martino

We are saddened to hear of the passing of jazz guitar legend Pat Martino yesterday.

Pat was part of our RealTracks Artist "Jazz Pollwinners 2" series in 2014. You can learn about Pat and listen to his RealTracks contribution here.

Pat had been playing guitar since he was just 12 years old, and devoted himself to music in grade ten. On top of years of performing (he began playing professionally in 1961), Pat received many awards for his playing, including the "Jazz Legacy" Award in 2016 presented by Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes and his wife Sheryl Lee Ralph-Hughes.
