Can somebodt help.
I finish a song and go to process ' merge to wav fil'. The ribbon starts running then this comes up.
]Access violation at address 00406408 in module ' realband exe' Read of address 000c6b66 at: 00406408.
The system locks up and you have to get out via Ctrl/Alt/ delete.
It's happened 3 times. I have had pg music take over my pc. I'm told it's corrupted. So I have to start the song from scratch. This is annoying when you've spent some thirty hours on a song. I uninstalled BIAB 3 times. But no go.
The songs are there. But I can't do anything about making them into a cd.
Be grateful for ny advice.

I have had pg music take over my pc. I'm told it's corrupted. Are they saying the computer is corrupted or the song file? If the computer, you need a computer tech. If it is the song file, then it should be a rare occasion and not multiple times - or you are doing something wrong. Can you take a screen capture session with something like the free version of camtasia and post the "workflow" which is resulting in the issue. Just an idea?

Hi Gareth, In your post you mention ... Access violation at address 00406408 in module ' realband exe' Read of address 000c6b66 at: 00406408 ... and then later you mention uninstalling BIAB. This has confused me a little. Does the problem happen when you are in Realband or in BIAB? Regards, Noel

Take the song and 'Save As' another name.
Don't try to play it or anything, just open it and immediately Save As another name.
Open the new file and see if any better.
If this doesn't work;
If the song Plays fine, but doesn't render, you can often record it via careful mixer settings by playing it back through the soundcard.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
