I create songs in BIAB and then edit and record in RB ad PT.
I assume (rightly or wrongly) that RealBand and Powertracks might stay at 32 bit. However, even if they do go 64 bit I understand that current PG music effects are 32 bit and certainly my coyote forte and Edirol Hypercanvas are 32 bit.
From watching the forum the 32 bit BIAB seems less problematic. I'll probably stick with that but I have two questions please on BIAB.
1) I have jbridge so the new 64 bit GM synth should work with the 32 bit version of BIAB . Is that correct? I can then directly compare soft synths or mix and match midi sounds.
2) If I decide to go 64 bit with jbridge will the forte and Hypercanvas work?
Secondly as I do most of my editing and recording in RealBand are PG music going to update their built in effects to 64 bit and will that affect my existing fx? If the old and the new appear side by side I can compare but if the only change is to 64 bit and sounds are unaltered I will stick with the old ones.
However if RB goes 64 will jbridge make my current fx and settings work unaltered?
I know it's a bit 'crystal ball' and I intend to update anyway but advice would be appreciated.

PG Music stated that their intent is to update their 32-bit plugin effects. I believe I read that Coyote Forte might be updated but I’m not sure about that.
One of the reasons PG Music provided matching versions in 32 and 64-bit was so you could continue to use your 32-bit plugins. I would expect at some time in the future the 32-bit version would no longer be needed, but for now you’re covered.
RealBand is still 32-bit. I don’t recall reading anything about that, but I don’t follow that forum so others will advise if they know.

jbridge only works with VST/VSTi's, not DX/DXi's. Coyote Forte is a 32-bit DXi (not a VSTi), so until it is updated for 64-bit, it won't work in a 64-bit audio application (such as BIAB 2019).
You can use 32-bit VST/VSTi's in 64-bit BIAB with jBridge; however, you have to manually bridge the DLLs using the jbridger utility that comes with it. I posted a little video tutorial in the tips and tricks forum on how to do that.

looked on the jbridge website and I can use the new 64 bit GM synth with the 32 bit BIAB. so as that was the only thing that worried me about staying with BIAB 32 bit it all seems as if I get the best of both worlds

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
