PG music can you provide the missing realtracks, please? Last week nothing showed up missing in the realtracks. (I'm not the only one missing these I'm sure, saw one other post as well)
Also the program crashes if you try to find a replacement for the missing tracks. (acces violation at adress in wmp.dll)
The realtracks are really physically absent but supposed to be included in the 2019 pack as part of the styles that were provided. Nothing to fix and rebuild as it has no effect obviously. It's clear to me that we got some RT's missing from the advertised 202 realtracks added with the 2019 version. The solution is to provide the realtracks, 6 or something like that with the names/number, and all is well. The styles that were provided will then work as it should be for all 2019 purchasers without being pushed to get realtracks outside their upgrade purchase.
After reading your thread's heading of "Missing realtracks 2019 Ultrapak after installing latest patch" I took it to mean that somehow applying the latest update was responsible for the problem. I answered from that perspective.
A number of the Realtracks that you list above seem to be part of the Bonus49 Pak. Did you purchase and install this? It was one of the extras on offer and stood outside the main program package.
Also, all your installation files are available for online download. These files are found by logging-in into your Sales account and then going to "My Products". The latest sets are 301-328 and bonus paks and the files for these can be downloaded and installed independently.
In the meantime, Live Help/Chat (on the upper right of this webpage) is a very convenient way to talk to PG Music staff directly.
Nuitaris, Your report is accurate and helpful. Thanks. There are a few styles (10 out of the 600 or so new ones with this release) that reference some RealTracks that are part of the bonus 49pak. This styles should have been installed with the 49pak, and not installed with the regular program. That will be fixed in a patch release, so that the styles you mentioned will us RT that you do have.
To be clear, you have all the RealTracks, it’s just a few extra styles got installed from the 49pak by mistake.
Thanks for your response. A lot of good stuff comes with the product and things can go wrong ofcourse. But on this specific topic I'm disappointed by your answer. I can show you why.
I have seen what happened with update 607, that the styles above that were listed as part of the realtrack set's are now set to be listed as part of the bonuspak. And that is not a proper solution, this is going in the wrong direction for the sake of all customers.
I can show you what is being advertised from your own advertising videos of what a customer can expect when purchasing those Realtrack Set's that are also included in the bigger PAK's as advertised:
"Purchase all 328 RealTracks Sets with over 2,700 RealTracks (2,900+ hours of studio musician audio recordings) in the Band-in-a-Box® 2019 UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition."
The advertising video's of realtrack set's speak for themselves. The slides in the video tell exactly what's included in the SET 320-328 , the styles with realtracks and their specific realtracknumbers (corresponding with my opening post); no way to deny this. It's advertised and customers buy the set's or buy all sets in the ultrapak (upgrade). The styles were provided but the mentioned realtracks have not come with the installation of the Realtrack SETs 320-328. So I ask again, can you please undo 607 update regarding this and provide what is being advertised?
At the moment with your given answer I consider it falsely advertised (and still is) as such for not willing to provide the realtracks as advertised. The customer should be able to rely on those videos.
A chique solution is to provide what is being advertised, aka a normal business practice.
Can you please fix 607 update regarding this and provide what is being advertised? styles in OP and corresponding realtracks.
P.S. ONLY regarding the style _Jutai ; the drumrealtrack is provided! foldername must be renamed and 2 filenames to make it work. "RD" must be written as "Rid"
The specific styles in question are: _ANGELS _CRIMSON _SOLEMN _CARLOW _LAIOS _HOWCOME
We accidentally included these with RT Sets even though they use an RT from the 49PAK. Sorry about that. This has since been fixed. We rarely delete files with an installer, since that could cause worse problems then it fixes, so the patch doesn't delete them. Instead, if you don't have the 49PAK, you can simply remove these styles from your Styles folder, and they will no longer show up as "RT N/A" in the StylePicker after a rebuild.
Thanks for pointing out the RT set video mention of the style, we'll correct that. Please message me to follow up or for more advice.
_JUTAI is an oddball, I thought that was fixed but it has managed to slip through the cracks. I have fixed this now and will add it to the patch. You can fix it yourself in the meantime by opening the StyleMaker (Ctrl+shift_F9 -- click MISC and re-select the RealDrums, then save the style.) One other style I noticed that has a small issue currently is _VIBE.STY, it should use PopWaltzBrushesEv RealDrums. We'll add that to the patch as well.
I will point out that there are over 300 new styles (that is, RealStyles / .STY files) this year not including Xtra styles, and there are lots of styles available for each of the new RT sets. Also, it is normal for styles in a particular set to use RealTracks from a different set. I.E. a style will showcase a RealTracks instrument from the set, but we don't limit the style to using RT instruments ONLY in that set, because that would limit the quality and diversity of the styles. So there are situations were someone may have Styles that are missing certain RealTracks. You can hide these in the StylePicker by selecting "only show styles with no N/A RealTracks"

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
