Despite the lovely Callie's post above about Build 622, all the infill glitches are NOT all fixed. Certainly not in 1278's case anyway.
I have completed an SGU which needs a nice background synth now and then, kicked in and out by F5.
SO, I used RT1278 and thereby found out about the glitches still being there - usually when you ask it to play something as basic as A/E, but also in other parts. But they are not a prevalent as they were for sure.
However, MST1801, identically titled "Synth Pad, Pop Uplift, Ev120" sounds a little different tonally but does not have any glitches, but is otherwise OK - apart from - -
The issue is that, using F5, RT 1278 comes in ON TIME, but 1801 does not come in until a bar after the F5 marker. (Edit - For example, I want the Synth IN at Bar 49 - it cuts in at Bar 50. When it does , it is correct - not out of time with the chords. BUT - why should that be please?)
BTW - the Audio Settings are MME. I dont have any ASIO drivers installed. And 1801 plays using Forte DXi

Edit - the Workaround is to F5 the MST1801 a Bar earlier - i.e. Bar 48 for a Bar 49 start. But RT 1278 works correctly on the F5 so why doesnt MST1801?

RTs and MSTs running on the same track? With any railroad that would be a problem .... but maybe BIAB can do it. Create a performance track?

Hi Fiddler - I was substituting one for the other and noted the difference on cut-in point.
I now have MST 1801 coming in at Bar 48 on F5 and it plays where I want it - at Bar 49 onwards.
Go figure - but it works.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
