No, sorry. BIAB 12 was in 2004. The current version is BIAB 2011.5 and the next, around Christmas, will be BIAB 2012. In your pile, version 2007 looks like it's the newest. That will work well in XP and maybe in Windows 7 (not sure).

this is the description is it all that old? BAND-IN-A-BOX 12 and POWERTRACKS PRO AUDIO 9 , and earlier versions of band-in-a-box programs, Version 11 megapak+,2007version, 9 megapak upgrade,biab10 upgrade,biab 11 megapak+,12.0A update,biab12 upgrade+,powertracks pro audio 6 and 9,triple bonus disc, and Band in-a-box video tutorial pak disc 1 & 2.
Love getting back into biab in 2024

Hope you got what you wanted, selling old versions is always hit or miss. I am wondering if it will help[ with an eventual upgrade, I suspect not since PGMusic only seems to track registered buyers, but don;t know abotu that. Otherwise, $66 ain't the worst deal in the world, enjoy. Funny though how you came here and chcek here afrer the sale.

yeah kinda dumb but i can return it if its that old.I just found out about BIAB a week ago and just found this forum yesterday.I was gonna just get 2011.5 for $96. this seemed like cheaper way to get feet wet.

2011.5 for $96 is indeed a deal... You really have to get the never versions since one of the major major changes, RealTracks, was likely not in 2007.

I have all those same CDs out in my garage somewhere, which will tell you how much they are worth now. If I didn't love the company so much, I would have thrown them out, but sometimes folks on here need a file from way back when, and I can help.
PG Music software has best been delivered on external hard drives for several years.

Does anyone know how guitar center is with trades? I really want to trade my G&L l-2000 tribute towards the $299 or $399 BiaB Package . I like my Squier VM jazz so much and i don't need 2 4 strings right now.

You would get so much more on a craigs list sale or something like that.

I keep all my old versions, and I use them.
I have an old laptop sitting on one of my keyboards. THe lappy is too old to run the latest version, but with an older version of BiaB it does all the things I want it to do.
With version 12, you wil be able to a whole lot. Ir will get you through the learning curve. Plenty of musicians used this version to back them up on gigs, back when it was the latest thing.
The biggest thing you don't get is RealTracks. I dont beleive they will run on your version. But you can have fun for years with what you have.
Also notice that the bundle you are buying has a bunch of extras. The Megapack includes a selection of cool freebies. The PG Music company is famous for adding extra stuff to the packages it sells. This is part of why I and so many others love this company.

Not sure what you plan to get but most of us get the MegaPak or Everything Pak. "twas me I'd get it now as when the new version comes out,if one comes out, it's been $99 to update I think. Don't quote me as I'm not an employee. Anyway this lets you have it for 2 months at least for $99. Some of the other folks may have something on this as well.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
