Hi, Actually I just realized after posting this that I probably put it in the wrong forum. Oh well. Here it is.

when I am mixing down a jam where we use BIAB backing tracks I had in mind capturing some of my jazz improvised motifs for either creating a new song or for improvising reuse as a seed for further development of a solo. So I am trying the transcribe assistant software AnthemScore which is about $35.00 to buy. What I will be doing is dragging the bass, drums and my guitar track into AnthemScore so it can figure out the notes I am playing and the rough timing (it shows the horizontal beat lines in the spectro-gram). I would enter the notes I played directly into BIAB and save the file (I find using the export to MuseScore pretty useless since inaccuracies in the timing are picked up and far to complex to figure out and MuseScore can not drag notes horizontally to correct timing issues).

To get to the question I found that AnthemScore is seriously lacking in navigation features (no markers, not quick keys to full wave form view, a very poor zoom feature, etc). Audacity and Transcribe are far superior. I am wondering if anyone happens to know of a program that can display the notes on the spectro-gram screen like AnthemScore can but which can also navigate much better.
