Hola, soy nuevo en el Foro. Tengo Band in a Box 2009.5 y una guitarra Fender Strato con una pastilla GK3 la cual conecto a un módulo Roland GI-20 . Me gustaría saber como utilizar la guitarra MIDI en el programa para grabar las melodías y algunos solos en los tracks respectivos. Tambien me gustaría saber si puedo grabar audio y MIDI al mismo tiempo. Gracias por todo en lo que puedan ayudarme. **dmusic**

Hola dmusic, bienvenido al foro. El equipo que describes es ideal para grabar con tu guitarra la señal MIDI y entrar a este fabuloso mundo de la guitarra sintetizador. Yo tengo un GI-20 también el cual uso con dos de mis guitarras equipadas con Gk3 una guitarra de jazz archtop Joe Pass Emperor II) y una Godin xtSA la cual viene integrada con el sistema internamente. De las guitarras conectas al módulo y de allí a la interface MIDI que se comunica con tu ordenador y tus programas de música como Band-in-a-Box. Para grabar la señal MIDI desde tu guitarra o módulo conectado dirígete al menú Melodia (o Solista) . Alli seleccionas 'Editar Pista de Melodía' y 'Grabar melodía'. También puedes activar la grabación MIDI (solo para la pista de Melodía) pulsando la letra R en tu teclado. Este video lo grabé con la Godín xtSA para demostrar las posibilidades de la guitarra MIDI con Band-in-a-Box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLHoFoRudOM&fmt=18

Para realizar una grabación de audio y MIDI al mismo tiempo usa el menu AUDIO y selecciona "Graba Audio y MIDI (melodia) o (solista)" o puedes hacer SHIFT + click en el botón rojo "G.Aud" (Grabar audio), una vez allí seleccionas la modalidad de tu preferencia. Esta característica de Band in a Box quizá no es tan usada como otras, pero quizá si supieramos más de ella entenderíamos mejor sus ventajas y aplicaciones. Para ello monté este video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VxCPlfV1lA tocando mi guitarra Epiphone Joe Pass, la cual esta equipada con una pastilla MIDI, con la idea de grabar el sonido eléctrico normal del instrumento y a la vez la señal MIDI, de esta forma puedo tocar y grabar mis melodías, mis solos, ideas e improvisaciones, incluso los ejercicios para mis alumnos de guitarra con la ventaja adicional de disponer de la partitura inmediatamente! . Sin necesidad de analizarlo mucho se deducen facilmente otras aplicaciones, por ejemplo, mientras grabas tu voz o un instrumento en la pista de Audio puedes grabar el MIDI de tu controlador o teclado y dejar ambas cosas registradas en Band In A Box. Y asi iremos descubriendo mas posibilidades.

We've enhanced the Melodists feature included in Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows!

Access the Melodist feature by pressing F7 in the program to open the new MultiPicker Library and locate the [Melodist] tab.

You can now generate a melody on any track in the program - very handy! Plus, you select how much of the melody you want generated - specify a range, or apply it to the whole track.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 DAW Plugin Version 6: New Features Specifically for Reaper®

New with the DAW Plugin Version 6.0, released with Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows: the Reaper® Panel!

This new panel offers built-in specific support for the Reaper® DAW API allowing direct transfer of Band-in-a-Box® files to/from Reaper® tracks!

When you run the Plugin from Reaper®, there is a panel to set the following options:
-BB Track(s) to send: This allows you to select the Plugin tracks that will be sent Reaper.
-Destination Reaper Track: This lets you select the destination Reaper track to receive media content from the Plugin.
-At Bar: You can select a bar in Reaper where the Plugin tracks should be placed.
-Start Below Selected Track: This allows you to place the Plugin tracks below the destination Reaper track.
-Overwrite Reaper Track: You can overwrite previous content on the destination Reaper track.
-Move to Project Folder: With this option, you can move the Plugin tracks to the Reaper project folder.
-Send Reaper Instructions Enable this option to send the Reaper Instructions instead of rendering audio tracks, which is faster.
-Render Audio & Instructions: Enable this option to generate audio files and the Reaper instructions.
-Send Tracks After Generating: This allows the Plugin to automatically send tracks to Reaper after generating.
-Send Audio for MIDI Track: Enable this option to send rendered audio for MIDI tracks.
-Send RealCharts with Audio: If this option is enabled, Enable this option to send RealCharts with audio.
