Hola...
Acabo de comprar Band in a Box en su Versión 2020 UltraPAK.
En el manual en inglés y en línea dice que en la carpeta songs deben haber 1400 archivos, (Song Titles Brower has 3,400 more titles. We’ve added 3,400 more song titles including requests from users, so there are now 14,000 titles) sin embargo al explorar la carpeta veo que no hay ningún archivo.
¿Esto es normal? ¿Esta versión no contiene dichos elementos?
Agradezco me respondan por aquí, ya que no se donde realizar mi pregunta

Hola Francisco Maza, bienvenido al foro. Felicitaciones y gracias por adquirir Band-in-a-Box, esperamos te sea de gran utilidad y entretenimiento musical. "Song Picker" (Selector de Canciones) es el recurso para administrar y manejar canciones dentro de Band-in-a-Box. Allí es posible contar con un preciso sistema de clasificación de canciones, según su título, estilo, tonalidad, tipo (MIDI, RealTrack, mixed) y por supuesto también tener un record de todas las canciones disponibles en las carpetas, sea cual sea su ubicación. En el manual 2020 en la página 70, se establece claramente: (traducción) "La primera vez que abra SongPicker, Band-in-a-Box le pedirá que cree la lista de canciones para C: \ bb \ Song, que es la carpeta de "home" predeterminada. Esta es una carpeta vacía, pero se usa para colocar las canciones que desee." Aclarado que al utilizar el "Song Picker" por primera vez, esté pedirá abrir dicha carpeta (vacía), podremos ya utilizar la función "Change.." para escoger otras carpetas donde pudieran existir canciones y de esta manera permitir que el programa realize un "Rebuild" o reconstrucción de la lista de canciones presente en la(s) carpeta(s) seleccionada(s). La carpeta ideal para buscar las canciones sobre todo las mas recientes de Band-in-a-Box (biab) es "Demos" generalmente ubicada en C:\bb\Demos o en el directorio personalizado donde el usuario haya decidido instalar biab. La carpeta Demos viene siendo utilizada como repositorio de demos y canciones para estilos de RealTracks y RealDrums y sus canciones demos, Midi SuperTracks, MIDI Style Demos, Melodist Demos, Soloist Demos etc. Por lo tanto es muy probable que alli encuentres un elevado porcentaje de las canciones disponibles en tu sistema. Es recomendable chequear otras posibles locaciones de canciones de BIAB, sobre todo si se ha utilizado el programa durante varios años. Al aplicar el Rebuild el listado quedará indexado para futuras busquedas. Esperamos que esta información te haya ayudado a entender mejor el "selector de canciones" (Song Picker). Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
