Hola a todo el equipo !
Tengo una tarjeta de audio que es compatible con 44. y 48 Khz, se que el Band in a Box trabaja en 44.1 y 16 bits. ¿ el programa acepta otras resoluciones ? ¿hace alguna conversion?

Hola Leo,
Efectivamente, Band-in-a-Box funciona de manera nativa a una frecuencia de muestreo de 44.1 Khz y 16 bits. Sin embargo con las últimas versiones se ha ido mejorando paulatinamente la compatibilidad y los recursos del programa para trabajar mas estrechamente con la mayoría de las placas y tarjetas de audio en la actualidad. Es de destacar que algunos de dichos dispositivos pueden comportarse diferentes unos de otros lo cual podría dar resultados ligeramente diferentes en cada caso.
Por ejemplo, en mi caso yo trabajo con varias interfaces de audio y he visto como algunas de ellas, como algunos modelos de M-Audio y PreSonus, son automaticamente configuradas a 44.1 khz y 16 bits por Band-in-a-Box, sin embargo en algunos casos, como la M-Audio Fast Track Ultra podemos observar que si dicha interface esta trabajando en un momento dado a 48 Khz y 24 bits, Band-in-a-Box permite a dicha interface operar en esa frecuencia y calidad, y al momento de realizar por ejemplo una operación de grabación en la pista de audio, al finalizar y aceptar la toma el programa efectua una rutina automática de conversión de dicho audio grabado con el objeto de crear un archivo de 44.1 y 16 bits. Esto puede pasar con cualquiera de dichas interfaces si se encontraran con sus configuraciones internas bloqueadas por alguna otra aplicación de audio en uso en ese momento y Band-in-a-Box no pudiese obligarlas a cambiar.
Esto demuestra que Band-in-a-Box posee la flexibilidad suficiente para operar en diferentes frecuencias y profundidad de bits y practicamente sin participación obligada del usuario. Sin embargo es recomendable siempre estar atentos a las diferentes reacciones de diferentes dispositivos. La experimentación no esta de más si se quiere llegar a conocer mas a fondo las interacciones con el sistema de cada quien en cada ordenador.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
