So I went nuts both buying and downloading free VSTi's the last few weeks and I have a ton of them. I realize that the current way that I know to get them to be recognized by Powertracks is not efficient at all, as I have to manually select each one when I want to use it for it to get added to the list for the future. Is there a way to have PT recognize all the VST in one folder? I know it can do that for DirectX stuff but I want to make sure that I don't have to sit there manually loading over 200 vst to try them out.

You can add vst folders and this will scan them and add the vst's in this vst FX chainer, you can move the fx up or down in the chain, it's 32bit.

Also free MiniHost will scan the plugins and add them

Or there are others you can purchase.

You could get a directory listing of your vst folders
Directory Printer https://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn

and add it to VSTPluginList.ini

but you need some way to add the vst name in front of the path, maybe with notepad++ name between "\" xxxxx ".dll" needs to be added in front xxxxx=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\xxxxx.dll

Code:
ACBoxCombo=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\Guitar Combos\ACBoxCombo.dll
Addictive Trigger=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\Toontrack\Addictive Trigger.dll
ADT=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\ADT\ADT.dll
AmpliTube 3=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\AmpliTube 3.dll
Aux Bus 1=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\Aux Bus Set\SolidSoundStudio Aux Bus Set\Aux Bus 1.dll
BC PatchWork VST=C:\Program Files\VSTplugins64\BC PatchWork VST.dll
Beat_to_Midi=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\BEAT to MIDI 1.0.0 Beta\Beat_to_Midi.dll
beattest=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\beattest.dll
blinker=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\blinker.dll
clocker=C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins\Midi Clock\clocker.dll

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
