So on one of the most recent versions of PT/RB, the solo button now gets
covered up by the piano roll window when you open one.

Right under the main 2 rows of tool bars, there is another "row". It has a
few buttons, one being the Solo on/off button. Next to that are the measure
markers. This doesn't appear to be a normal tool bar, as such, as I can't move it.

So . . . when I'm working in piano roll, I have to continuously close, select Solo
on or off, re-open piano roll. Resize it. And continue.

Why on earth would someone design the function to be covered up by another window!!!

Yeah, you can resize piano roll a bit so the button is in sight. But you also have to
size it small enough so the name of the tracks show so you can toggle on or off what
you want to solo.

And of course, as soon as you click on one of the tracks, or the Solo button, piano roll is gone! Behind the tracks window.

Piano roll is a great tool, and I often toggle solo off and on while editing in the window. Listen to the edit, then listen with it back in the mix, etc.

Anyone know of a way to keep the solo button in view? Move it up to the main tool bars?

TIA. Wayne
