Hey everybody,

"Santa Stop Here" is a fun new original Christmas song and video by Josie and Bob. We hope all you kids at heart and the kids you know and love will enjoy it. To see the lyrics - click "more details" on the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AvpNyxGUiw

It's kind of a Spector girl group meets Springsteen feel good song. Or maybe not LOL but it was fun.

Josie on vox/harmonies. Mixed in Tracktion. Video by Bob.
RT's used:
Drums RockClassicBrit
Bass Hard Rock 995
Guitars 1033, 1031 and some Brent.
Organ 686, Vibes 1220, Sax 1716

Your comments are welcome and appreciated!

Nice song!

I was going to add a couple "constructive" criticisms, but my 9 year old daughter (who should have been in bed hours ago) is standing next to me, is smiling and dancing along with video.

So it look like you've connected with your target audience.

That is so cute, Josie.

How was the 'animation' made?

dcuny's daughter said it all!!!

Yours is more in the true spirit of Christmas And it's a little less cynical than mine last year.
How was the animation done, it fitted wonderfully?

David, Kent, Alyn & Noel,

Thanks so much for listening/watching the video. Josie and I are really glad you enjoyed it.

For the video, we used a combination of vintage and newer footage, which required editing to fit the song. The video was produced in iMovie 11.

Hi Bob:

I'm curious. How did you get the rights to use the footage?

Hi Bob:

That's a great resource. Which providers are those? I'll bet other BIAB users would use something like that when creating videos for their songs.

Thanks.

Hey Kent,

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and I see Bob already answered your question.

Hey John,

Thanks for watching. Bob put in hours of hard work and did a fantastic job on this video. We're getting him a director's chair and a megaphone for Christmas so he can fling his arms in the air and yell cut at the computer. LOL!

Hey Alyn,

Glad you enjoyed it! We thought animation would fit the lyrics making it more fun to watch and enhance the beat. Bob and I can tell you this without hesitation - Christmas songs are hard to write.

Hey Noel,

So glad you like it! We believe we have something really special with this song and put the time and hard work into it. Thank you for everything you said.

Yes she did! Great song and video. I really like your vocals on this one. It sounds like you were having fun singing it.

Two thumbs up.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Thank you! We're so glad you like it!

Love writing the love songs but it was fun to do something a little different and get in the kid spirit.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
