Hi Ken,

That was a really nice listen. I love the hook! It's such a wonderful way of looking at the effect of time. Very creative.

Is it possible to post the lyrics? There were some words that I couldn't appreciate properly - even after a few listens. That could well be related to the fact that I'm Australian but it would be great to be able to see the whole story.

All in all, wonderful!

Noel

Thank you for the comments. For those who asked my mother is doing well, and wishes y'all could see the rainbows. She cried when she heard the song, I'm taking that as a compliment

Noel96 I am pasting the words to this song

Rainbows Around the Moon
(Verse 1)
Mama sits on the back porch breathing
Gazing at the empty chair
Talking to the cool wind drifting
Never seems to be unaware
Visits with the angels listening
Golden shadows lighting off her hair
Satisfied with a knowing smile
Says goodnight to the breathless sky

(Chorus)
She watches rainbows around the dark moon
Talks to angels in her palace room
Dances in the hope of glory
Prays to God she’ll be going home soon

Verse 2
She pours a glass of that Texas sweet tea
Walks along an unpaved road
Talks of days of misty tear stains
Soft and low while her hunger grows
Knows one day when the angels are calling
She’ll see her loved ones there
Talks of Jesus, I can almost see Him
While she sings and old time hymn

(Chorus and Instrumental)

(Bridge)
She dreams in colors of the moonlit rainbow
Keeps her change in an old fruit jar
Wishes on a four leaf clover
Wanders off among the stars

(Chorus)

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
