This is a work in progress and I am currently adding more BIAB original tunes. I was encouraged by several wonderful PG Music friends to include my pre-stroke vocals because they will never be recorded again. Some have warts that I can't re-dub, forgive me for the rough edges.

I would love and appreciate any comments from my friends.

Please post them below so I'll know that the download link worked.

The download works fine - just clicked the big DOWNLOAD button and it all came down within seconds...

It is nice too hear ya singing those old songs. Especially like your version of The Dance...

Just learned; my album is being played on Scotland's Hospital Radio. Unfortunately, it's not being streamed but I share the venue with my Brit friend, Hayley Oliver, just nominated (fourth time) as Britain's Best Female Country Singer. Who could ask for better company to share the broadcast with.

Hi, Don !:))

What beautiful music
both sung and played !
I liked many of your tunes
and somehow I was stuck
with Island Memories, a tune
that undoubtedly deserves to be sung
with some good lyrics to it !
Maybe you already have some
lyrics coming up ?

Cheers
Dani

Played through a few tunes on line and just completed with download of the whole album. It's great to hear you are getting some airplay with it. Thanks for sharing.

Well done don, if there were rough edges I want some for my songs. I love "Ottawa Is Blue", the guitar work is above excellent, and is my favorite of all the songs. Your rendition of "Crazy Arms" took me back, the whole album flows smoothly from 1 track to the next; very nice job putting it together; thanks for sharing!

You are way too generous, my friend. The "rough edges" jump out at me after compiling this album. Maybe "new ears" would help (in the Studio Engineer's sense, at least). My ears are very tired today. Mac's excellent advice is: "Never point out your mistakes!" Or, as Chet Atkins is often quoted: "All of my mistakes are intentional!"

I've told the origin of "Ottawa" earlier. You may remember Ian Fraser, a great Canadian songwriter and BBer. Ian slipped in the shower and broke his neck. This was my tribute to a wonderful friend.

I began auditioning my original BIAB tunes today and found 446! I'll definitely need "fresh ears" before I undertake Volume II, lol

*That should read 1,446 BIAB tunes.

Cool! We're on a short vacation and confined to iPhones but will download when we get home. Congrats also regarding the airplay.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
