CRACKING CAROL! I decided to "update" an old song that has been a traditional christmas carol in my country for almost a century, but seems to be forgotten anywhere else. I'm inserting a video of a more "conventional" rendition, which you might want to view before checking my version, to really appreciate the level of alternative thinking here
More background information about this song and origins can be found in this forum thread HERE. Thanks again to everyone who contributed to that research I had a lot of fun putting this together, hope you enjoy the result - Happy holidays!
p.s. The formalities, in case you thought I'd forget:

I'm amazed how people can take a song that has always been heard in one manner and change the song completely. Wonderful update of a traditional carol. Love the ending!

It has to be just different enough, but not so different it becomes completely unrecognisable or an abomination of the original. But hey, that's just my type of fun to be had with a tool like BBox, you know Thanks for your generous compliments and support, as alway. And speaking of generous, don't think I haven't noticed how you always go the extra mile and leave a comment on my my channel as well as in this forum. That extra touch is very much appreciated.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
