Thought I'd dig this one up and repost as it's almost 6 years ago since this terrible event.
Its around this time ( 18th Dec 2012 ) that all those poor kids lost their live thanks to a maniac.

RT USED...Piano waltz energetic
Midi......Slow strings, changed to reason choir

Dear "furry"...

Your gorgeous, achingly lovely melody transforms the indescribable loss of the lives of those innocent children into a musical testimonial of hope for the survival of their souls in the everlasting arms of their Creator.

Bless you, sir.

This is beautiful, Graham. You truly did a fantastic job with this. It is certainly sad, but also really touching. You should be really proud of this. Thanks for sharing again with us - this is my first listen and I loved it smile

Hi Graham,

What beautiful song! I'm so glad you reposted this. I wasn't a member of this forum at this time, so I never heard the original. You have captured the sad sentiment of the moment so eloquently. And thank you for thinking of our lost little ones here in the USA. The pond between "us" and "you" is only as wide as we choose to make it. This is so pretty.

Alan

We had just joined the forum that month. Thanks for the repost.

You did a great job capturing the melancholy and giving us all pause for reflection afterwards.

Loved this tune Graham. Beautiful backtrack and the accordion was so good. Lovely tribute.

So beautiful and so sad... tears in my eyes. Great, great tune!

Most of the American people I have met in my life were clever, educated and nice people, so who is it that don't want any kind of weapon control in US?

For a person like me - living in a country where weapons are banned and where we have very few people killed by criminals per year (less than 50) - it is really hard to understand how people can accept weapons to be legal.

Thanks Guys, I was actually crying myself as I was recording it so it's true I think that emotion plays a HUGE part in composers music & songs, you've only got to listen to some of the songs posted on here alone to know that

Thanks Robert, I was actually in tears watching the news myself that day, so as I mentioned earlier, sadness can often bring out the best in composers

Hello Graham,

this is another enchanting song of yours - how beautiful that is !!!! I have to admit that I'm not an accordeopn fan in general, because my father used to torture us with what he thought was nice music, but you play it in a way that's so charming. Very, very nice and tasteful.

All the best,

Stefan
