After Dinner Chill

After you took your significant other to a Valentines' day supper you went to the jazz lounge to hear some romantic music and have a cocktail or two.

BiaB style = Jazz at T60 - Slow Jazz
Tempo = 60BPM

Bass = Ample Bass - preset Upright
Piano = EZ Keys Dream Machine
Drums = Steven Slate's SSD5 - preset Jazz Brushes
Guitar - Kontakt - preset Jazz Guitar
Piano lead = 2089 Piano-solo-accompaniment - pop ballad - modified to better fit the song

I played the Tenor Sax via my wind controller and keyboard controller
and the lead guitar.

Effects - a little reverb on all but the bass guitar track and the kick drum.

All comments welcomed.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

I'm flabergasted as to why this hasn't received any comments. It oozes quality. I'll be playing it on my easy listening show on Friday night. Super choice of instruments, and great arrangement. I'm not a huge jazz fan, but, I LOVE this, thanks old buddy

This is looking into the true soul of a musician/composer. The instrumentation near the end, chiming in at 02:36 to lift the listener out of the spell were exceptionally well done, as was the entire production. Furry has the idea, put it on the air.

AHHHHHHHH... so relaxing, Mario. Great taste on the guitar, and the sax is dripping with feeling. This is sweet, man. My wife and I call this time A.D.J. and this tune fits right in with the mood. Well done!

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanx so much for listening and those very nice comments. I thought that since no one had commented that this must have sucked. You my friend have changed my opinion of this song.

PS - thanx for playing this on your Friday night show. I appreciate that.

Thanx so much for listening and commenting Floyd.

PS - Thanx for the drinks. Your waitress gave us your order by mistake and I didn't have the heart to tell her she was at the wrong table wink

Thanx so much Ed. That section is BiaB's piano, 2089 piano, solo-accompaniment, pop ballad MIDI that I slightly modified. I'm glad to took notice of that section.

Mario,

We've already discussed this gem privately. You've got another 'keeper' there, my friend. I wouldn't change a single note.

The tenor sax sounds really great here! Thanks for sharing. I think you really captured the "chill" vibe to this song and jazz clubs and lounges really well in this!

You do the controller thing very well - & the guitar thing too.
I reckon there may be too much reverb on hihats/brushes as it sounds quite distant and metallic.
Apart from that = tres bonn.

Cheers

Really nice, meandering progression. All the solo turns were sweet. Neither me or the missus are big jazz-heads in terms of being super familiar or educated, but we've got a favorite little spot with live jazz first entered on a whim that has become a go-to place for us to get un-harried. This was cool.

We remain fascinated by the technology you use and by the
results of it. We love a sax and your's was sublime.

And a lovely open airy mix to show it all off.

Outstanding!
