I think I may try to write a few instrumentals, in the near future ... instruments can say everything whilst still being ambiguous, unlike the human voice with lyrics, where one is in no doubt about what is being said. It's a very vocal sort of melody. And you can't go wrong with a bassoon! Around 2:00 the melody took a less conventional turn - I didn't see that coming.  The cadence sort of meandered through chords - I wasn't sure where it was headed. But a pleasant enough listen!

I also think that some songs just say more instrumentally
because the listener then concentrates only on the actual song with its different instruments
