Peace on Earth

No I am not in a beauty contest!

It's just the title of the song but hopefully it will bring a little peace into your life.

BiaB style - Float 1 - New Age Soundtrack
Tempo = 50BPM

The bas track was copied two more times:
Bass 1 - bass effect - Synthmaster - preset BA Cataclysmic YY
Bass 2 - 2x bass - Kontakt Kirt Hunter Virtuoso bass
Bass 3 - 8via - Kontakt Kirt Hunter Virtuoso cello
Piano - Synthmaster One - OSC1: Wave Index
Guitar = Wave - Grandmaster Piano - fx Presonus Pro EQ
Strings - Kontakt - Solid State Strings
VST Chord Markers - Kontakt Kirt Hunter Virtuoso strings

Me - nylon string guitar
Me - Flute via my wind controller - AAS - Ultra Analog VA3 - Windy Flute

Effects - all but the 2x bass - PSP Spring Reverb
Master effect 1 - Presonus Pro Liniter
Master effect 2 - Tube Saturator Vintage

As always all comments, good or bad, are welcomed.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

From the title I was not expecting those thundering synth booms at the beginning! Glad to know evil did not triumph.

I much enjoyed the guitar solo. For some reason, the backing made me think of Robert Fripp, of all people.

Hello Mario
Brilliant instrumental piece
Great background with a cool melody
And really great guitar elements
But the intro is absolutely top class
Great work Mario
Thanks for sharing
Many greetings

Great atmospheric soundscape Mario.
The intro could be taken as "War on Earth" too.

Thanx Mark. Who said evil did not triumph. I look around both here and other countries and wonder if evil isn't winning. Let's pray that it doesn't win.

Nice arrangement. Lovely guitar playing. This could be a movie soundtrack for sure. The sound wave indicator (don't know the official term) on Soundcloud rolls like a gentle sea.

The introduction certainly got my attention! smile

Nice and melodic, and it kept my attention.

Pleasant listen, despite the ominous undertones.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

A beautiful piece, Mario.

Cool beginning.

The guitar sounds great. Nicely played and well recorded.

Atmospheric. A great listen.

Hi Mario,

what a tough intro... The whole thing is in a most positive sense so cinematic - kudos
The nylon guitar and flute parts are so beautiful.

Very enjoyable and impressive!

All the best for the year ahead - most of all: Stay safe,

Stefan

Hahaha. It took me a bit to catch your bit about a beauty contest. What a wonderful piece to express your peace, Mario. A very engaging background track and then you come in with that nylon guitar. The flute is a nice touch, too. Really quite interesting choices in the guitar melody.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Contemplative, cinematic and excellently performed.

Nice arrangement and mix also - no surprise there.

The guitar and flute are standout. Even if we remain clueless how you do it.

Best to you in 2022!

PS Janice did a perfect imitation of a contestant stating your title smile

Yes, it took me a second to realize what you meant about beauty contest, but I finally got it. LOL. Enjoyed your soundscape, mellowed me out real nice once the sturm and drang of the intro was over. Nice work as usual.

Well done Mario. I am starting to play with some synths right now as well. Will be incorporating them into my future songs. Lovely soundscape. Super mix as well..

Great piece Mario...an eclectic soundtrack evoking not only peace but tragedy, conflict and contemplation...it's the flute that seems to be the voice of peace in all of it hiding there behind the synths that want to dominate ...I love it...there's a movie out there that needs this soundtrack. IMO

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
