Hello all,
I copied this from cassette to MP3 using my friend, PTPA and got a pretty decent sound out of it, using the EQ and Comp.

The drums is a little toy casio that my step daughter had at the time.
The Bass I'm playing is a Fender Precision.
And the Guitar is an Ovation Solid Body 12 String Electric. Preacher Deluxe. I still have it.

Give it a listen if you want to hear the HIGHEST my voice ever sounded.
I hope you enjoy it. Just not my usual sound.

It's called, "Everybody Here"

Here's the link, http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=835626&songID=10869921

The lyrics ar there and so is the info on the song.

Thanks you, Wayne,

I enjoyed that and can think of nothing more to say other than I replayed it a few times and so am now singing my version. Enjoyed it tremendously.
Amazing what someone can do with a C90 and a Casio. And yep that voice is high *adjusts own pants to a more comfortable position*

Thank you, What I most enjoyed besides finding it after all these years was the hearing actual recording.
Besides the casio, I forgot how wonderful a REAL Bass sounds. I guess playing guitar, I put more melody into it. I used a Bass that I was repairing for someone. I never owned one, so I figured I might as well use it. lol

This song is almost as new to me as it is to you.

Thanks for taking the time and thank you for your kind words. All I remember is I was on a living room floor somewhere when I recorded this.

And yes, I couldn't believe my voice. whoa...
Wayne,

RG, just visited your music page. Great stuff there. This song here is something else considering what you had to work with. It and you sound real good for something that old. Makes me wonder about all the new tech we're spoiled with now. I used tape forever. Till there was no more tape.
Yes the voice is high in this song, but real good. Lots of feeling. I liked it. You have a lot of different stuff. A man of many styles? What do you like playing the best?

Thanks a lot Reds or RWB?,
Thank you for taking the time to listen. I'm glad you liked it. It's an oldy.
I play a lot of acoustic, but I've always been into the Blues.
From your name I guess you are too?
I'd have to say I'm a Blues Player. All Fender Guitars. And yes, they're both Red.
Good to meet you. You've been on here for 10 years and no posts. What happenned?
Whatever, glad you're back.
Thanks again, Wayne,

Thanks, everybody,
It's one of those songs you write and later when you read the lyrics you say, "Who wrote this". I do love one line and I always have, "A lot of people pay for my mistakes"
I remember thinking no matter how we think we're just hurting ourselves, we're hurting those around us.

I do not remember singing like that. But I know that's me and I didn't play with the pitch.
When I upgrade the end of the year I'll have all the realtracks and I'll be rerecording some of my stuff. But you won't hear me sing in that key. In fact most of my songs I've dropped the key.

Thanks for all of you've taking the time to listen and your thoughts. I really appreciate it.
I know it had no BIAB, but I'm always amazed at what a great job PTPA can do in tranferring these old cassette songs to MP3. The tape doesn't sound at all this good.

Hi Martin,
Thanks, I can relate to the lyrics too, even now over 30 years later. I find it hard to believe I wrote them. But that happens to me a lot. after I write something, I come back and think, where did that come from.
Thank you again, it really means a lot.
Wayne,

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
