Strap your socks on for this one!
I wrote this song as an acoustic guitar/vocal folk song and in the second person. And yes I was eating crayfish at the time.

Just Happy (3-9-2011)
I was hatched down in a crawdad hole I eat mashed potatoes from a wrought iron bowl facebook says I ain't got no friends I trade the one in the bush for the two in my hand
but I got no flies in my kitchen and I got no pot o’ gold I dance like a frog with two left fins and --- I’m happy just growin’ old
I drink my beer from an eight ounce glass I got a finger in my nose and I got no class I smoke cheap cigarettes just because I can I only call you up when I need a hand
well my britches need a stitchin cause I scratches where I’m itching so I only go out when the fog is dense but my dog keeps jumping my back fence

Hey!
Strapped in and enjoying the ride! Sounds like a sweet mix of Heavy Metal and Southern Rock. Whatever it is...it works great! Still trying to stop my leg from bouncing around. And I'm dancing in my chair...not a pretty sight, trust me!
That was a lot of fun!. Totally loved the ending, not just the chord but the echo of the guitars. Also, the harmony of the guitars on right and left was more than sweet! Great job!

Hi Lawrence!
Like Al and Di, I'm on the roller-coaster ride, too. This one sounds like it was a heck of a lot of fun getting together! Some really really great imagery in here. Each line's a story in itself! Amazing stuff.
Regards, Noel

Lawrence,
You Punk, you! 100 miles an hour straight ahead headbanger punk rock. I'm bouncing around the room.
"..dance like a frog with two left fins"... funny - are we doing a theme?
Good mix. The vocal sits in it perfectly.
Fun song. Well done.

Al-Di, C is the default key and when I transposed the song to E, BIAB left the C chord in the ending. So I just left it in. Happy mistake!
Noel96, When I decided to go metal/punk it was a blast to go all out. And those lyrics were fun to write!
VideoTrack, I had been wanting to do a drum intro for some time. This was the perfect vehicle!
floyd jane, it was a blast to mix. Just before the third verse there are 7 screaming electric guitars! plus bass, drum, and B3!
tommyad, definitely one to crank up to 11!
Guenter, when I auditioned this style for these lyrics I did it for a laugh, but it didn't take me long to realize it was perfect.
big741, glad to help you start your day with a bang!

Man, that is too cool! Kinda a Robert Earl Keen sits in with a rock band vibe. Sounds like it was a fun project. There's nothing about it that didn't make the two of us smile. And, as usual, a combo of lyric, vocal, RT's and mix. Much fun.
