Lyrics:

Yes still I do (love you) by Dani

Still on my own, yes on my own
strolling up and down all the streets alone
I don´t know what to do, when you are not around
because I love you, love you, love you, sweetheart I do
there´s no one like you, like you like you, no one so true
I´ve searched my way around
but there´s no one to be found
because I love you, love you, love you, darling I do
yes still I do

solo

My love has grown, yes love has grown
strolling here alone all on my own
I don´t know what to do, when you are not around
because I love you, love you, love you, sweetheart I do
there´s no one like you, like you like you, no one so true
I´ve searched my way around
but there´s no one to be found
because I love you, love you, love you, darling I do
yes still I do

Enjoyed the song. Good match between the vocals and music style. Upbeat tempo fits you well.

Quite a departure for you Dani. You're voice is pretty mellow for this rockin' music but it still reflects your warm spirit! A fun listen! Take care. Greg

Hi, Robert !

Thanking you for your kind comment
I must admit this was not really a song,
more like a test of style and certain
chord progressions !:))

Hi, Charlie !:))

Thank you so much for your kind comments !:))
Upbeat may fit but I am not sure about
the style !:)) In any case, I like to
test different styles and see what, if any,
reactions they might give, then I know better !:))(lol) !

Cheers
Dani

Hi, Greg !

Thank you for your most kind comments !
I guess I am way out of the box yes, but
I do not mind testing a little bit (lol) !:))
I agree with you that the rockin´may not be
my best style, but I was in fact testing
certain chords and the harmony voices
to them here !:))

Cheers
Dani

Dani,

I like it! As has been said - a good combination with your vocals!

Fun and peppy and catchy! (and a good mix) It's still running through my head...

Musical departures from the norm are good and even better when they work well like this one. Hello Dani the blues man! Enjoyed it.

I like that texas blues shuffle sound. The chorus and the backing vocals stand out for me, quite nice. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Floyd !:))

You are being all to kind
with this veteran, but I do
appreciate your kind comments
truly very much !:))

I am only writing music for
my own pleasure and (a few friends)
but to those who aim to write
music seriously I would warmly
recommend to start with the catchiest
possible refrain ! There´s gotta be
a hook in the tune if you want to
get within the heads of the big guys !:)) (lol) !

Cheers

Hi, Kevin !

So very nice of you to
give my experiment a listen
and bring such kind words
about it !:))

It is a very powerful
style indeed and I think
it was even a bit too powerful
for my backing vocals, but it was
real fun to try !:))

Cheers
Dani

This has a 60's movie song feel to it. Retro stuff.

Cool modulation in there.

I think it''s closer to pop than the blues. Might be some blues influence in it but it's really a pop style the way it turned out.

Good work.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
