Hi, friends ! My old girlfriend was over and I could not help falling for her charm ! We had a romance on a spiritual level and when she left me I felt a longing I have not felt since my wife died ! This prompted me to write down this little tune for her http://app.box.com/s/ztvwvv6rtln32go0y0m7 Style:POPWLZ3STY Pedal Steel and Mandolin Instruments: Bass: 1178, Bass Elec Piano: 1187, Pedal Steel Drums: Realdrums Poprockwaltz Hat 2 Ride 2 Guitar: 1182, Strumming AC guitar Strings; 1186, Mandolin Soloist: 51, Synth Strings 1 Recorded and mixed with Mixcraft 6 Vocals thru zoom H4n Lyrics: IN SORROW AND PAIN (By Dani) In sorrow and pain I stroll in the rain my darling has left me alone I will be so, please do have mercy mercy me for being so blue longing for you my sweetheart , for you ! I´m under your spell I stumbled and fell I fell for you darling I can hardly sing how much I do love you love you true and now I can´t cry my eyes are all dry from crying goodbye You came to me my dreamgirl from the past I was a fool to think that the glow could last In sorrow and pain I stroll in the rain my darling has left me alone I will be so, please do have mercy mercy me for being so blue longing for you my sweetheart , for you ! © Dani Lindroos 2014

Very good work in all areas, like the falsetto part; thanks for sharing!

Another sweet tune! Like your last one, I'm hearing a little bit of a Bacharach vibe, which I love! You are really on a roll. Take care. Greg

Dani,
You are such a romantic writing straight from your heart. Such pretty chord progression, Like the low register to high and the sweet harmonies. I think Greg hit it with the Bacharach vibe.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
