Hello every one haven't listed for a while.
This is just another nonsense song.

In fear of my life

In fear of my life

Walking home the other night was getting kinda late.
Was sipping on some whiskey as I leaned against a gate.
It went swinging on its hinges as my head was earth ward bound.
The night was dark but seeing stars my face had grown a frown.
I should be home at my sweet wife's side instead of being in fear of my life

I felt a hot breath in my ear it child me to the bone.
What the heck was going on if I had only known.
A gurneys bull with a gleaming eye was out to do me wrong.
He stared at me and I stared at him by heart was beating strong
I should be home at my sweet wife's side instead of being in fear of my life

Fill

Was running like a scittled cat nothing barred my way.
When I turned and looked behind he ran the other way.
Bravado began to well inside cos I was no ones fool.
I kicked the ground and bid him well I showed that useless bull.
I should be home at my sweet wife's side instead of being in fear of my life

Nice Australian country. (Thought I noticed you had no accent). Had to look up Cooloola Cove long way from Sydney.

Hi Peter.
Thanks for your comments. I try to work on having a neutral accent when singing.
Some time it works and some times it doesn't. Cooloola Cove is a long way from anywhere:)

Fun tune. Enjoyed my listen and your song also brought back more than a few memories of close calls I've had out here in the country. Never thought of writing a song about them. Glad that you did.

Rob, nice tune and production. I always admire your mix of lead and harmony vocals. The fiddle was a good choice and you make those drum brushes stand out.

Rob,

enjoyed that a lot

Reminded me of when I was a little kid, 3 or 4, and I was on my grampa's farm "Lower Bucca" many miles north of Sydney and the cows were being lead in for some reason and I sh*t myself and ran like a demented idiot into the cow shed, my parents apparently were laughing so much they could do nothing to stop me but ran when they heard the screams as I was hiding in a pile of hay being looked at by a bemused cow....the bit I remember HAHAHA! except it as a monster, not a cow HAHAHA!!

so thoroughly enjoyed that song laugh

Hey Rob, those are GREAT vocals. Cool delivery
of a fine write and backed up with an effective
choice of RT's and a mix that is "all there" in
the "right places."

We much enjoyed it!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
