Hi Bob!

this is a fun listen! I like the guitar that played near the beginning and again in the middle... I would have liked to hear more of that... but maybe that's just because I'm a guitar player

The drums and pad were nice too, all in all a very nice composition!

My foot was tapping and my head swaying from the start to the finish of this one. I like this one a lot. Everything about this one is top notch.

Two thumbs up.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Another fine write, mix and performance. Love'd the "drive some baby" effect near the end.

It's fun to follow along with you as you experiment and you do a good job expanding out while staying rooted to folk. I would not have been unhappy to have seen you do more with this song.

Your mix worked well. But I think could have easily reached further. You possibly could have squeezed more 'flyover' feel by maybe changing style during the chorus. That would have accentuated the 'grounded' beat of the verse.

Enjoyed this one a lot and looking forward to your next post.

Hi Bob,

You certainly are carving a unique niche with your style of song , and lyrics. I like it, and this one confirmed for me why I like it. Keep it up.

Bob,
this is very good work, kind of reminds me of Lloyd Cole and the commotions, back in the 90s.

Another really cool song Bob!! You've used a similar "band" which works very well with your style-love that dreamy guitar! Really cool, impressionistic lyrics and production and mix work great. Nice job!! Take care. Greg

Charlie,

Thanks - much appreciated. I always work with a lot of layers - the trick is always knowing when to stop layering... I tried to go easier with this one, but your point is a good one.

Bob, This new band that you've put together just flat out works with your material. I expect we will hear more of them as you continue to expand this sound. Nice job. Tom

Wow! It is so easy to get lost in that imagery.
Like Tom said the band works really well
with your style.

The mix is outstanding. Everything sits right
in it's place AND works with it's neighbors smile

Excellent!

Bob,

This "new sound" you've found fits you (your lyric style) like a glove!

It just works! Does a good job of putting the focus where it belongs... on your lyric.

The little bit of lead was just right.

Wish I knew how you come up with some of your lyrics - how you think, how these come to you... so cool...
