Hi, friends !:))

What should I say ? I have been working on this
tune for some time and realized I did reach my
limits more than once ? In any case I thought
you just might wanna listen to it nevertheless?

The style is _ FLKTAE8 Even Eights Folk
and the instros are:
Bass. 2478
Piano: 1422
Drums: Tambourine
Guitar: 896
Strings: 1840 Synth Pad (soloist)

The links are:

http://app.box.com/s/vzu8xyisdrlnd6sg0p905wp1yfmbrudb

Recorded with Mixcraft 7 Pro and Stagg Mic. Guitar solo
played with Fender strat

The Lyrics are:

Let it stay (music and words by Norman Wibe)

You know that I just knew the moment I saw you
I wanted to believe that you´ll be mine
I knew immediately, that you and I would perfectly combine
and that we´d be so true, yes so true

When I saw you first I fell for you my sweetheart
there came this feel of love so deep inside
I had to tell you of my feelin´s, nothing there, nothing there to hide
now we´ll never ever be apart

I kiss you sweetly
here beside me
that´s where I want you forever to be

I hope this lovin´moment won´t go away
caressin´you so quitely in the night
I can feel your body warmth when you turn to me turnin´in delight
please let this moment stay

solo

I hope this lovin´moment won´t go away
caressin´you so quitely in the night
I can feel your body warmth, when you turn to me, turnin´in delight
please let this moment stay

Let it stay…...

Cheers
Dani

Dani,

So beautiful - love the lyrics and the way you sing this in your higher register.

Another nice one Dani.

I don't think you reached any limits though wink More good material to come, I'm sure

I simply love your chord choices! And your harmonies!

And when you modulate from "That's where I want you forever to be" into "I hope this lovin' moment..." well it's a masterstroke of composition!

Wonderful!

Dani, I'll bet Li is head over heels with that one! Glad to see you played a solo. Tasty. You have no reason to ever change keys on a song. Your range is akin to Mariah Carrey's. Nicely written ,sung and produced. Tom

Tom said all the things I was thinking... (he does that a lot).

This might be your best ever. Terrific production (the tambourine worked well for this). Nice solo. Awesome vocals (WOW factor!). Good mix! Well done, Norman!

Hi, Janice & Bud !:))

Thank you both for your most kind
words. My vocal range is not so
wide as one might think. I am a bass
so I can hit some low notes and I can
use my falsetto for higher notes but I
lack most of the middle register which
hinders me to function as a barbershop
lead singer ! My falsetto is not exceptionally
high, just check out Tim Waurick or
the ringmasters etc. and you´ll find guys
that can go much higher, Tim can go very
low also and incredibly high !:))

Cheers
Dani

Beautiful Dani, you have an amazing voice and your ability to turn out so many songs in a short space of time never fails to amaze me.

I really enjoyed this song, have to agree its one of your best to date.
