Original song in the vocal style of the Bee Gees. RIP Maurice and Robin. Let me know if this works for you!

Your song in the style of the Bee Gee's worked for me. I've become a big fan of the Bee Gee's over time. Always liked them but didn't truly appreciate their talent and genius at first.

Enjoyed my listen. This is a very good write, mix, arrangement, production and performance. The vocals are excellent.

This is awesome! Great arrangement, and the vocals are wonderful. Truly a fitting tribute to the quality of the Bee Gees' vocals themselves. How about a Beach Boys one next??

I have a love/hate relationship with the Bee Gees. Seeing them perform live was pretty amazing. No autotune, just good singing.

This is a good tribute based on the style they used in their earlier years before they went "disco".

There's a chord that's bugging me. It sounds like it's not exactly the correct chord. happens in several places but here's a few. first time is at 15s.....very noticeable at 2:19/20... 2:31....

Really excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

You certainly captured the intended tribute.

Wonderful tribute, Ron, both vocally and stylistically.

I have always loved the Bee Gees. Their sound is so unique, and their voices aren't everyone's cup of tea; however, they were extremely talented, and just nailed the harmonies every time.

I do love their early work, but I wore out my "Main Course" album when I bought it. I can listen to "Fanny Be Tender (With My Love)" over and over again.

It was sad to see Maurice and Robin go; and of course Andy prior to that.

Thanks for doing this.

Thanks for the listens and many kind comments! This was fun to do, and Dusty got into it as well.

Loved the Bee Gees before they were popularized, felt vindicated when Saturday Night Fever made them a sensation, then horrified when the whole disco thing ignited. Never lost my love for the sound of the Bee Gees and while their choices continued to evolve, their voices never lost the magic. Was nice to stroll down memory lane again with this song.

Will, love the Beach Boys as well, might have to give that a try one of these days. smile

Guitarhacker, great ears! Opened up the flute and guitar tracks in Melodyne and both guitars consistently substituted an Amaj7 for the A6 chord. There were some other places where this happened, but are more buried in the mix. Just moved the G# to A in Melodyne (studio version, a GREAT tool) but will listen more carefully next time and might use F#m/A or F#m7/A next time I want a 6 sound. BiaB substitutes work ok most of the time, this time it did kind of stand out, especially since the flute correctly played the F# and the guitars played the G#.

Glad you like it, Steve!

Will, thanks for the encouragement. Guess if I'm daredevil enough to take on the Bees Gees, the Beach Boys shouldn't be scary at all. smile

Yeah! You did a great job of getting that feel!! I love the old Bee Gee stuff (pre-disco, and some post-disco). My brother recently played a bunch of tracks off the One Night Only DVD. Really cool! Thanks for this!! Take care. Greg

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
