This is very pretty and yet it has a haunting feel to it as well.
Very enjoyable.
I am moving soon and will also be setting up a new music room.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I will be enjoying mine.

Hello, Scott

Very pretty waltz!
Your guitar tone is very sweet as usual.
I also like a little heavier delay on it.
Very enjoyable listen.

New music room! Splendid!
I also want a wider music room than now.

Best regards.

Nothing like a good waltz - what a pretty tune, Scott! Very easy to close your eyes and drift away to smile I thoroughly enjoyed the guitar work on this too.

Thanks for sharing!

Scott,

Lovely - your tone and delay suits the mood nicely. Parts sound as if there are two guitar tracks?
Enjoy your new space!

"Scott C"...

"Good Nite" is simply stunning, as serene and shimmering in its sound, and as timeless in feeling as a waking dream. It conjured-up images of pastel flower petals falling in an autumn breeze, swirling waters, quiet forests and mist, everything that speaks of the eternal peacefulness of nature. It also had a divinely calming effect on my mind and spirit.

The delayed guitar notes were a perfect effect for your song. The whole thing has classical ambience to it, with the warm cellos courting the speech of your guitar, the slow waltz time...

This is sheer, unadulterated beauty of mood and sound, "Scott C". I could listen to it "looped" forever.

Did you use the Gibson in the picture?
A nice laid back melody with some pretty playing.

Thanks Deryk. This one was a bit out of my comfort zone. Had Over the years I have made a bunch of backtracks with different styles. If I can't connect with the backtrack I randomly go back and check them out. I struggled a bit with this time signature. No pain no gain right :-).

Thanks Robert Was very please with the sound on this one. The acoustics in my new music room have turned out pretty good. Spent some money on insulating the roof. Also as I moved into a condo complex did not want my next door neighbor complaining..

I did this song in one take. I played some of the melody with double stops one octave above to get the two guitar sound. Glad you liked it..

Great production to break in the new room.

We both love the melody and your playing/effects. Back in our bluegrass days we used to play a lot of waltzes. Done right like this one they make for very special music. It sounds sublime on our monitors.

Enjoyed it!

Scott,

Very, very pretty! That fx gave it a slightly haunting feel. Abd loved the tone, too! Take a bow - You earned it!

Best to you,

Yes I used my Gibson 339 on this song. I have been trading guitars quite a bit over the last year and this one has been on the trading block a couple of times but I am growing quite fond of it as it is very nice to play. Easy on the hands. Thanks for checking out the song I appreciate your comments

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
