Hi everyone,my latest BB track, written in collaboration with my poet and lyricist friend Mark Willis, using the strum and fingerpicking Realtracks folk style. I played all the solos and extras as ever and did the vocal part. https://soundcloud.com/riccledy/sword-and-claspR.

Rick... Good job... Building up the instrumentation as the song progresses... But I wish you had included lyrics.

Hi guys. Here’s the lyrics as requested.
SWORD AND CLASP (Words by Mark Willis and Riccledy/Music by Riccledy. Feelings mean much more, when your hearts upon the floor I remember what it was, before you walked right out the door It was everything and nothing all rolled into one Now the time has come,to finish what’s been done.
So il raise up my sword and clasp at my shield As I’m sure you’re heart will duly yield
We shine together and we follow our dreams Life isn’t always as bad as it seems So never give up or never give in, We’ll see it through together, our love is not a sin.
When the thunder claps and my ghost appears I know what it takes to dry your tears The moon disappears and the dawn will rise The sun lifts up and the sky glows free The shackles release and we’re both feeling free And the time ahead will be forever we.
