Written and partially performed by BIAB. Drums, bass, accordion and piano come from BIAB. Any feedback welcome.

Sunny,

A very enjoyable piece. Dramatic. Nice orchestration.

Interesting and original.

Hello Sunny,

A nice intro with those chopping violins. The orchestra is well done especially in the transision from chorusses and verses (v.v.).
Your vocals in it were nice, but maybe you could have bring them more upfront? To me they sound a bit 'shy', although you want to shout out and tell the world about your freedom ;-)
But I liked it very much!

I liked this song a lot - interesting arrangement, catchy chorus!

Minor nits: the short strings were a bit dry for my taste (which is, admittedly, out of date). And the fade at the end was a bit abrupt.

Thanks for posting it! laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Good write & orchestration...
Very pleasing to listen to
I like the beginning...
It was an attention grabber for the entire piece.

Did you use notation software to pull the composition together?

I like it.
The arrangement is well done.
I agree that the vocals need a stronger position in the mix.

Lots of work on this one. Agreed, the vocals need to be more upfront. Other than that, very nice.

Really well done - it flows really nicely, and the chorus is a big standout for me. Definitely an earworm - delightfully catchy, and I like the orchestration throughout. Gives it an 'epic' sort of feel.

Thanks for sharing smile

Cheers,

Hi Sunny,

Wow!

You've done a great job with this. It's easy to hear just how much consideration you've given to the orchestration, the mixing and the presenting of this work.

It's very satisfying listening.

Regards,
Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
