HI Ed ...
Your old-time gospels are always terrific. Same for this one. Nice with all the basics as they should be. Nicely dine!
Merry Christmas and wishes for a wonderful 2021. Take care and be safe ...

Good stuff. I love the sound you captured. Real old time quality, like hearing it on a radio. Lovely music by the band.

The vocal is a little shaky but the sincerity sells it. WSS

Scott: Thanks, always happy to know you are there. jpt: Coincidentally, this is a genre that quality works with. I don't know how it is accomplished. Steve: I've re-recorded vocals for that reason. If I knew how to upload the new mix and keep the links alive, I would. Seems like that could be domw in SC. Thanks, again.

Hi Ed, It is a very pleasant composition. The arrangement is well done and the voice a little behind gives a flavor to the whole. Well done. My best wishes for the new year. And take care of yourself.

Thanks, Derochette. And, to you, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I've been flu-free. Hoping the same for you and yours. The lockdown has given me the time to do some composing. Really, my favorite thing, like one non-stop improv. Keep up the good work!

Might have something to do with the age of the vocal chords and the vintage equipment used Hey, Peter and Greg, have a Merry Christmas for you and yours, too. Thanks for the comments. Seriously, capturing that vibe is something to think about. Sounds like it is already in that direction. That would be unique.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
