SONG TITLE : "TOO MUCH HATIN'..IN THIS WORLD" ALT TITLE...>>>... "I'M JUST A CRAZY MUSIC MAN" WARNING >>> BIG OVERDRIVEN SONG ANNOUNCEMENT NOTE AT SONG BEGIN...WATCH YOUR LEVELS.....TILL YOUR COMFORTABLE WITH SONG !! Aplogies if anyone hates song. PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GET RID OF THAT FIRST BIG GUITAR NOTE COS I LIKE IT...lol. (ive taken polls...lmao.) ARTIST : moi..ALF-L..(a lad from london (c) 2017) (i like to sing in lots of different vocal "styles". this is just one of them.) (PLEASE USE GOOD EARBUDS IF YOU CAN. SONG SOUNDS GOOD ON MINE.) heres the song link>>>> https://soundcloud.com/user-302791555/musmancalfl2017DETAILS : 1. as with all my songs ....done with biab/rb/reaper combo. note...if i remember correctly i used some of reaps built in geetar amp models on the zany lead guitar break. with dabblings of low resource useage plug ins. pg's plus reapers etc on various other traks. (NOTE...i urge anyone to really get into both the pg dx plug in suite as well as the reaps js plug ins etc. both are a treasure trove if you dig deep.imho.) 2. verse 1 is about "too much hatin' in world" etc. 3. verse 2 bring me southern comfort if you visit...lol. then chorus. followed by... 4. very zany crazy lead break then some sax. 5. i say "trying to do the best i can" in the chorus. YOW ! ...lmao. 6. outtro. once again crazy zany guitar on outtro. and moi saying "thats some crazy lead guitar". 7. please feel free to criticise. i'm a big boy. its just another piece of song lunacy from yours truly. i'd be interested in what people think of use of sax, organ,..and my vocs. best oldmuso (a lad from london.) ps..try dancing to the song. thats what i do...lol.

Crazy and zany, ALF-L. Don't give up on us, man. This is a good song. Ain't no hatin' in THIS world, but I dig ya crazy music man. You have a lot of fun and it shows. Gave this one a couple spins. There is so much in there AFTER that OVERDRIVEN opening. Levels set by the time you were hit by the saxman, and enjoyed the fast-paced ride that followed. Did ya ever play a bar gig and no one seemed to even notice there was live music, but when you're done everyone comes up to you to say how great it sounded? Sounded great, man!!

Loved your song from start to finish.
Keep posting!
I've enjoyed London all the times I visited and would love to travel there again.

Man, get used to the racing pulse of the forum...it's in one of the hyper phases at present. things fall between the cracks very quickly and there're some folk posting two or more tracks in a couple of days that crowd others out. This is fun, your vocal is strong and it bops along nicely. I'm not a fan of the sax but it's there. The organ is good as is your voice. Nice solo on the run out.

Ezekiel. re london...fyi i was born there and spent my early childhood years there; but most of my adult life has been spent working/living outside the uk. for lovers of all things london the next song i post is called "my grandad" .. all bout how my kind grandad would take me to soccer(footie) every other week when i was young. wish i'd kept the comics he bought me...worth lots today...lol best/happiness to all. oldmuso PS...i'm trying to free up lots of time this week away from family to listen to lots of songs in the user showcase. as i feel this is only fair if i'm asking people to critique my daft efforts.

Hi Alf-L,
I turned down the volume knob, did my earphones half from my ears and was prepared for the worst to come! But then; the first link didn't work anymore and the second one made me undo all my preparations. I had to turn up the volume and place the earphones correctly on my ears and... nothing worse happened! I heard a very nice song, good vocals singing ordinary lyrics (kind of...). So a good song Alf, contrary to your warnings!
I only have one or two things you need to change: that big guitar note at the start, and the single note from the sax somewhere at the beginning. No, I am teasing a bit. The only thing you need to remember from my post is that you made a very enjoyable song!

justanoldmuso,
"PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GET RID OF THAT FIRST BIG GUITAR NOTE COS I LIKE IT...lol. (ive taken polls...lmao.)" This cracked me up.! Man can I relate to that!
This is the first tune I've heard of yours but I instantly thought...RINGO STARR!!! Which is a high level compliment from me!
Nice job in all aspects of the song and as others have mentioned, the guitar playing is KILLER!!
Thoroughly enjoyed! Keep em coming! Torrey

I went to listen and the track could not be found. Did you take it down? Is so you should leave it up longer for late comers like me.
Life go in the way this weekend and Monday so I couldn't listen.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Liked it a lot nicely done.
Can you list the RT's as opposed to any live playing?
Excellent work (nice guitar breaks).

Super kick@ss rockin' blues. Loved it!
Everything about this one is top shelf IMHO and your best to date, again IMHO.
I liked the B3 and your vocals were excellent.
Keep singing those blues.

Sundance and Mario. thanks for listening. as an interesting aside i once had a more complex chordal approach/fancier chord structures for the song..but the "person in the street" liked this simpler version. in conclusion sometimes the KISS approach works better.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
