It's all there in the title. After changing from swing to even style BIAB won't let me add even RTs to the song ... even though I a had copied chords to a new file.

I probably neglected to change the style, remaining from prior song, before I pasted in chords.

Is there really no way to over ride the initial style type when searching RTs?

Muso ... I think you did and didn't answer my question. In your example you already had the rhythm changed in the new song before you pasted. So that works.

But apparently ... please correct me if I'm wrong ... if I opened a new file where the rhythm settings persist from the last song, later even though I can change the rhythm, there is not way to tell BIAB to over ride the rhythm to the changed rhythm.

Biab will open with last used style, you can paste then change style before generating, make sure the tracks are not frozen:

I guess something else is going on, as even as I do as you instruct above, I'm still getting the same issue. But I've managed a work around by using the Multipicker.
