I have come across the Chord list of Commonly used chords but I have heard there Is a comprehensive list of their corresponding shortcut entries stashed away somewhere amoung the help files. Does anyone know where to find it.

Hi Jyde,

Try going to the Help menu, select the "Index" tab and type in "Chord List" (without the inverted commas). In my version of BIAB (2010), this gives me the list you mention. The shortcut keys (e.g. J = Maj7, H = m7b5, etc.) are given down the bottom of that help page.

The file you want to look at is /BB/shortcut.txt

Instructions for what is there, and how to add your own, are found in /BB/pgshortc.txt

I have the everything HD BB package and I can't seem to find the file you said was under F:\BB directory. Is there some place else it could be? thanks.

Sorry. It's possible the shortcut.txt file does not exist unless, like me, you create it. But you should have the other file, with the instructions: /BB/pgshortc.txt

Just use Notepad or some other ASCII editor (not Word).
