Posted By: tor how do you input Badd11 chord or E sus2(maj7)  - 09/22/11 08:40 PM
on my chord finder program they are both the same chord
Have you tried typing B then the + then 11 and enter in Biab?

Trax
Esus2(maj7) has no 11th. That could be EMaj9.
Well, the Badd11 should be a B chord with an added 11th (4th); so you get:

B (1), D# (3), F# (5), E (11)

The Esus2(maj7) should be:

E (1), F# (2), B (5th), D# (maj7)

Given that both chords contain the same notes (but in different order), I can see why the chord finder showed the same chord; especially in BIAB, since [I believe] it doesn't really look at inversions, but at the notes that comprise the chord.
thanks for your response.
plugging emaj9 into biab gives me

e, b, d# and g# but no f#
thanks.

b+11 wont enter into biab

F# is the ninth in Emaj9

If you are not hearing it, it is probably the particular RealTrack and another may work better, particularly one intended for jazz. Or, just regenerate a few times.

You can enter just B11. You will either see B11 or B9sus depending on a checkbox you can set. In this chord, you will have a C# which you may not want, and the seventh, but again which ones you hear depends on the voicings the player used.
thank you. I just dont know how to enter it into the chords in band in a box8888
Try entering B/E.
