I couldnt find this under listed chord types. I need an Ebm7sus for the b part of Nicas Dream. Any suggestions??
Hi Petimar,
Simply use Eb7sus. There's no such thing as a m7sus because the "sus" note (the 4th) is used instead of the 3rd. That is Eb-Ab-Bb-Db. Thus the 7sus chord is neither major nor minor and works equally well in both modes.
Regards,
Noel
Other option would be Ebm11 which has both the minor 3 and the 4th (11th)
The only sus chord in the bridge of "Nica's Dream", is Ab7sus, assuming you're playing in the original key, Db. Later, Ray
Yep... m11 should work just fine...
DUH!!! I should really think things through before asking stupid questions. Thanks all!
Not at all - yours was a perfectly legitimate question.
We get many such questions when someone has a chord that is not one of the supported chord types in BIAB.
ps in my version of Nica's Dream, played in Fm, the bridge starts with E9sus4, which occurs several more times in the bridge.
