Hi !
I exported a midi file from BinaB to Cubase 6.5.
My wish is to keep all the notes and rythm and change the sound of the instrument, but each time it comes back to the original sound (the exported one).
can some one help me in this battle ?

thanks in advance

PS I hope that my too poor english is uderstandable

You likely have to strip out all the original Patch Change commands.

Not sure how to do that inside Cubase, but look for something like "MIDI Event Editor" or the likes.

Bonjour.

When you select a track in cubase there should be a menu option to view control changes. From here you should be able to delete the program change events.

Vous parlez anglais tres bien. Il y a pas de problem!

ROG.
