Is there any way to limit note ranges with Real Tracks.

I am working on a backing track in Eb, and the Bass is playing the low Eb below it's normal range. I can remove it by regenerating the whole thing, but it may then appear elsewhere.

I know I can move it to RealBand and regenerate parts that I need, but it is really a simple backing track that I didn't want to have to move to RealBand to complete.

Is there really no answer to this? It seems almost every song I'm using realtracks for, an Eb slips in somewhere.

There isn't a way to limit the range. RealTracks may go 1-2 semitones outside the range, via transposition.

Bass players sometimes tune to Eb, so it isn't that unusual to hear a low Eb.

You could try generating the track in D (which wouldn't have low D's). and then transposing it up 1 semitone in your sequencer.

OK Thanks Peter, I'll give that a go.
