Does anyone know if a list of shortcuts exists, and, if so, where I might find it?
Thanks,
Bob
BIAB, Open the Help menu, choose Index, type shortcut keys and there you go.
Also go to PG Music, select Support tab, then choose Videos, there's a video on Shortcut keys.
Have a good day.
Thanks for the reply, but that isn't what I was hoping for. I'm aware of the chord shortcuts, but what about keyboard shortcuts for editing and copying, e.g., typing "K" followed by enter copies the last 8 bars to the current position, etc? Having a list of those would be very helpful. Is there one?
Best,
Bob
Hi
Search under Help for "Keystroke"
In particular: "Keystroke List" gives you a list of
most keystrokes
Although in my searching, the K Quick Copy command only comes up under Version 9 New features
Probably this list could need updating.
Hope this helps, anyway
Regards
Trevor
Wonderful! Thanks Trevor.

The latest Update Build 381 contains the new Full Manual in .pdf format.
Look inside your bb folder for it.
In the all new Manual, hit ctrl-f and type in, "keystroke" to rapidly search thru for all the mentions of Keystrokes, to include a listing all in one place.
But even better, the Keystrokes for shortcuts are now also pretty much all listed "by the function" throughout as well.
Also pay attention to the Menus when you look for a command, may of the Keyboard Shortcuts for functions are listed just to the right of the function description in the menus.

not here
and the help > display program manual option still brings up biab 2013???
Hi Mike
There have been two releases of Build 381 in the past few days.
The first, dated 10-March and labelled 'Beta' did not include the manual, the second, released a couple of days later, (but still dated 10-March)
is still labelled Build 381, but not Beta, and does include the manual. Please download from the link again, and reapply the upgrade.
Hope this helps

Oh, that is so cool, and comes at the perfect moment. Thanks Mac. - Bob
thanks trevor
you'd think by now i should have learned not to question mac
i thought i had checked everything including the date on the original 381 file which i downloaded and installed on the day it came out!!!
should have just gone ahead and redownloaded before posting
somehow i missed the post that indicated the update of 381 and the removal of the beta tag
all is well now
Too Easy, Glad to help
I agree on two things.
1: Mac and all the other real experts here (not me) don't get too much wrong.
2: It was pretty easy to miss the later release of 381, simply because it had the same version and same date (10-March)
Keep those tunes comin'
Kind regards
Trevor
Question me at every turn, my man, that's one of the methods by which I LEARN new things, just be prepared for logical argument rebuttal unless and until I can be shown something to be otherwise.
This new Manual is hot stuff, put it on your .pdf reader if you have one, paperless office and all that, I'm learning all sorts of stuff about Band in a Box usage right now.
"Wow. I din' know dat..."

We have each made lots of mistakes, though well-intentioned at all times, so always keep questioning. We are all improving constantly.
This 'beta' update has a history that is not consistent, as I have pointed out. In my opinion, a new or even improved update warrants a new build number.
Or at least a different date!

ah yes pdf
history of pdf i keep the pdf manual open when using software and yes having the ability to store them on portable devices for reading away from the computer is great
options i like
the advanced search ctrl-shift-F and items under the comment tab on the far right like add sticky note ctrl-6
sometimes a pdf manual is locked this has proved useful in that situation
