Can someone tell me how to enter a c+7 chord? I tried caug7 and it would not take it. I then tried c7aug and it took it and shows as a c7+. Is that the same as a c+7? Would a c+7 be the same as c7#5? Very confusing when lead sheets have a dozen ways of writing the same chords.

That's the way BIAB displays it. If you do a Google search, you will find this chord represented both ways (C7+ and C+7). The plus is shorthand for sharp the 5th.

If you don't like seeing C7+, you could always enter c7#5, instead. Either way, the parser that figures out chords seems to want to see a 7 right after the chord name, not as a later modifier.
