I'm a newbie to BIAB, just bought 2014 and have programmed about 21 songs in the last week. Mostly simple songs, but now I want to try more difficult stuff. Is there any way to change tempo in the middle of a song? I'm programming Tulsa Time by Don Williams, using the Don Williams style. I set the first few notes at about 220, which was the lead in, using shots and holds. Now I want to begin the chorus of the song in normal time, about 110. I'm thinking there must be a way to do this, but darned if I can find it in the forums. Should I be plugging them in as eighth notes in 110 then going to the main part of the song using 4/4 time? If so, how do I accomplish that? Please advise.
PS: I don't have a keyboard yet.

Hi John,

Welcome to the forums.

Try this ...

Right-click on the bar at which you want to start the new tempo and select "Bar Settings" from the menu that appears. You'll see a couple of ways that tempo can be changed.

The shortcut key for Bar Settings is F5.

Regards,
Noel
