With so many styles to choose from I am thinking it might me faster to get some advice on which style to use.

I am doing Michael Martin Murphy's song Wildfire and trying to find a guitar strum that is close to the syncopated strumming they are doing in the song.

Both even and swing don't seem to make the cut since the accents are more on syncopated beats.

Any suggestions out there?

Thanks
record a real guitar playing the part....

That's the secret to getting good covers with BB
Have you tried

380:Guitar, Acoustic, Strumming Syncopated Sugar Ev 102

It's close enough to "get by".

Your song tempo should be set to about 85.

1 E Abm |2 A |3 E Abm | 4 A

etc....
Thanks for the good tip Floyd.

I used the style _CNTRYFS.STY with the following RT's

535: bass Electric Pop Sw 085
363: Pedal Steel Background Ev 085
Drums: Nashville Swing 16 ^1-Snare, Ride
380: Guitar Acoustic Strumming Syncopated Sugar Ev 102
365: Guitar Acoustic Fingerpicking Ev 085

Pushed the EMaj7 by 1/8 beat.

Used this link as the chord guide and of course listened to the original song a few times.

Set the tempo to 85 to match the recording and it took off

Thanks for the tip.
