I bought a lot of new realtracks for a lot of money. I did the rebuild of the style list. But most of the new styles will not play. "real track not found" is the message.
I run Windows 10
I hope there is a solution....

Have you checked your General setting for the location? Options, Preferences, and click the "RealTracks" button? Default is "C:\BBW\RealTracks" so make sure that is where they are located.

What version of BBW? Did you try a slow, complete rebuild from Style Picker? Any error messages?

Did you try "Help" "What Add-ons-do-I -have?"

More accurate information will assist.

Which RealTracks did you purchase?
Which version of BiaB did you purchase?
Which style(s) didn't play? Some examples?

I have BIAB 2016 , MegaPack and all other Jazz Packs.
"What Add-ons-do-I -have?" showed me, that a lot of styles and Real Tracks were listed under " these add ons are not found"
So, I uninstalled all packs and all programs. I reinstalled all packs and all programms. But nothing changed.

If you are selecting your RealTracks via the StylePicker (versus the RealTracks Picker), then if any of the other tracks are using RTs that weren't in the Mega/purchased packages, you're going to get that message. Just substitute the track with one you do have.

The MegaPak only comes with 370 (out of the over 2000 available) RealTracks.

The Style files, however, may contain instruments from all the available RTs. RealStyles are very different from MIDI styles in that MIDI styles are completely self contained. Since you are playing from a GM MIDI synth, all the instruments are always present in MIDI styles, as defined in that Style File. RealStyles, however, are simply pointers to a group of RealTracks that generally work well together. That means you have to have those RealTracks to fully use that RealStyle. If you are missing one or more, then it will tell you that. You can then just substitute, for example, a bass RT you do have for the one you are missing.

If you really enjoy using BIAB, then I suggest when 2017 comes out later this year, you consider upgrading to the UltraPlusPak or the EverythingPak, which will include ALL the RealStyles. That way you should not see the error message.

What ASIO drivers are you using? BiaB 2016 definitely works with both ASIO and MME

(Incidentally, version 2017 isn't out yet, presumably you mean 2016?)

BiaB definitely works with Windows 10. Can you provide more information about the crash you are experiencing? Any error messages, etc?

I've used BIAB for nearly 20 years and it has NEVER CRASHED! I would suspect a problem in something else.
Error messages would be very helpful.

I use Steinberg Komplete Audio 6 audio interface and its ASIO drivers. That is not the source of my problems.
I guess that BIAB is not working with Windows 10

There is no error message before crashing. Usually there is a noise, a hum and all is freezed.

If you're running Windows, you can run a little utility called "WhoCrashed" which opens your error log. I use it on Windows 7 without any problems.

The last app that I recommended had been hacked and infected with adware since I had installed it on my computer. I would never do that intentionally but it may be prudent to scan this one for malware before installing.

What exactly are you doing in BIAB when it crashes? There is one known problem in Windows 8 & 10 that affects some users and causes a freeze, and that is Help, Index, type a letter.

You said you usually hear "a noise, a hum" when it crashes. Can you describe that more, please?
