With the new B&B and RB update 2009.5 and the external PG hard drive does one transfer the program file updates to the external disc and then run the updates from there or …?
With the Realdrums and tracks these can be transferred to the respective folders on the external PG HDD.?

You can place the update installer files on any drive.

When you run them, there is a place where you can browse and point the installer to the drive and folder where your program resides, do that, then run the installer to the Finish mark.
