Hi all!

I'm doing a song where I will use some breaks (shots) on beat 1. I enter it like "Am..". This works fine....but I want the next bar to be proceeded of a drumfill.

If you don't understand what I mean...listen to the first verse of Santana "Black Magic Woman" as that is exactly the effekt i want to get.

Do any of you have any ideas on how to do this?

I already have a part marker on the following bar, but it sounds like the shot in the previous bar also prevents a drum fill. Any ideas?

Try this, works fine :

If you want a 1-beat drums fill, set the Dm.d at position #4 in the bar.
