I have set to defaults. In the chord window it shows a small 1 and 2 for endings (I much prefer the previous version with long line above bar) but in leadsheet window it shows no endings or repeat signs. Any idea what could be happening? Thanks

I'm guessing you have "Fake Sheet Mode" unchecked in the Lead Sheet Window, correct? If that box is unchecked, your repeats are shown unfolded, in long form. Once you check it, it should hide the repeated bars and show repeat signs instead.
