thanks for info but i already done that several times and still the same.
thanks
Well, there are a few options. Are your RTs on the original USB drive if you have Audiophile? Copied to a internal drive of your (non-laptop) PC? Check the copied files, i use Teracopy f.i. running 'verify', or copy selecting skipping as time saver, using verify. If not re-run the WMA downloaded installers from PG. -F

The most likely reason is that BiaB/RB can't find the Real Tracks folder.

Go to "Options --> Preferences --> Real Tracks"

Check "Use a custom folder location for the Real Tracks" and browse to the folder where your Real Tracks are located.

If that doesn't do it, then something else is wrong.
bob
my default location for real tracks is bb real tracks

i did as you suggested and got this log file which seems to say what my problem is but i dont know what to do about it.
the log explains but i just cant work out what to do.
it says go to real tracks settings and set real track folder but my real track folder is set to bb real tracks which i thought was correct.
i added an image of log file.

stuff is easy for some people but some people (like me) sometimes get a block.

thanks

Looks familiar .... what i'd do is search on my original BIAB USB drive for *.XT2 and *.ST2 with windows search, mark them all with Cntr A, and COPY them (Cntr C), and then use Cntr V, in to the the correct installation folder. Or run the installer files again if you have the WMA version. In your case i think: C:\bb\Soloists is the location they should be. F

thanks for reply.
should the soloist folder be in the real tracks folder, or separate?

All the Realtrack files (soloist, rhythm, background, etc.) are in the Realtracks folder.
Thank you, for some reason my soloist folder is outside the real tracks folder, when I try to pick a real track I get the message that the .ST2 and .XT2 files are missing. This could explain it. Shall I just drag the soloist folder into the real tracks folder? Will that fix the issue? Much obliged.
On my system the soloists folder is NOT in the Realtracks folder, but in the root of the bb folder. contains ONLY .ST2 and .XT2 files, and a few .TXT ones. A few .stx files too, and .LS3 ones, which don't belong there probably ....F
Thank you, okay, my problem seems to be the real tracks cannot find the ST2 and XT2 files... I'm searching for answers still...
check this: SOLOISTS is the folder name, not soloist ....
Yes you are right, my bad.
Hi Paulpaul,

It looks like the two RealTracks that you're missing files for are part of the 49-PAK, which (as far as I can tell) you don't own. So this may be a case of having a couple extra ST2/XT2 files (which wouldn't be a big deal), not missing something that's supposed to be there.

Could you have purchased the 49-PAK separately, maybe using a second account that I'm not finding?

Feel free to contact us directly through the Live Help (chat) feature on our website if you want to go over your orders and figure out if you're supposed to have those RealTracks. I don't think there's a serious issue here though, it really looks like the RealTracks that you own are installed correctly. smile

Thanks
Kent
