I have a good library of many commercial loop libraries from companies like Loopmasters and Big Fish Audio.

However, when I copied them into the relevant Loops folder and open BIAB, I found that there is no proper info for BIAB to recognize. For example, there are no info on root notes, etc.

Is it because nowadays companies don't bother to enter such info before they release loop libraries?

My sincere thanks,
Are they instrumental loops (e.g. bass, guitar strums, etc.)?

If that's the case, do you have another program that loads loops? It would be worth loading them to see if it is indeed the publishing company's omission.

On the other hand, if the loops are rhythm based (e.g drums, tambourine, hand claps, etc.), I'd imagine that it's not necessary to include any root note information.
BB will read the Acid info if it's embedded in the loop or you need to enter it manually.

Here's a free acidizer http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=393400#Post393400

Rubber Band Audio is a very handy tool for loops, just drag n drop.
