I would like to record some of my own tunes in video arrangments
Start with simple split screen recording.
On one side will be the BIAB arrangement playing.
On the right will be a shot of my playing melody/improv on the guitar fretboard to the arrangement.

I have both MS and Apple OS's at my disposal.
Mac Imovie to get started. Mostly because its free.
Figure I can spend $$$ later After i see if I enjoy it.

I use BIAB currently on Win7 64.
Can someone suggest a decent low cost way to capture the video from the BIAB window as it plays?

I'm guessing I'm not the first person to do this. Perhaps there are some links someone knows to others who have done similar. Any jump start I can get would be great
